Teaching the ladies from Retreat Church about Lavender
On the 26th of August, 35 ladies form Retreat Church learnt all about Lavender with Lavender in Lavender Hill. On that rainy Saturday an hour and half was spent learning about the qualities of lavender and how to use it. The most exciting part of the day was getting their hands dirty while learning to take cuttings and make baby lavender plants. These they took home to grow. To date in 2014 Lavender in Lavender Hill has done 4 education sessions, educated 125 people and have donated 134 lavender plants. Two more education sessions are scheduled for September and October 2014 at Hillwood Primary School, Lavender Hill and Crestway High School, Steenberg.
